No. 6 Men’s Water Polo To Face LIU, Iona On Senior Day

PRINCETON, N.J.- After a weekend of rest and a long road stretch, the Tigers are back at DeNunzio Pool for their final regular season home games. No. 6 Princeton will face off against the LIU Sharks and Iona Gaels.

Tigers To Watch
After the program's first ever win over Cal and other strong performances throughout the week, Princeton swept the NWPC weekly awards. Roko Pozaric was named the Player of the Week, Kristóf Kovács the Defensive Player of the Week, and Tas Palcza the Rookie of the Week.
In the last meeting between the Tigers and Iona, Finn LeSieur tallied three goals and two assists in the win.
Logan McCarroll and Gavin Appeldorn each notched four goals in the victory over LIU earlier this season.
History
Princeton and LIU faced off at the LIU Pool earlier this season. The Tigers picked up a dominant 27-13 win over the Sharks. The 27 goals were the second most in program history.
When the two teams faced off, Princeton took a 15-7 win over Iona and Kovács recorded four steals in the victory.
