Three From Men’s Tennis Set For NCAA Individual Championships

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Tigers will be well represented at the NCAA Tennis Individual Championships in Waco, Texas this week. Paul Inchauspe and Fnu Nidunjianzan will compete in singles and Inchauspe and Filippos Astreinidis in doubles.
Nidunjianzan was the first member of the Princeton roster to punch his ticket to the NCAA tournament. He reached the final of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional singles tournament to clinch his spot.
Astreinidis and Inchauspe earned their place in the same tournament by winning the ITA Regional doubles tournament.
Inchauspe advanced to the semifinals and went on to win the ITA Sectionals singles tournament to qualify for the singles at the NCAA tournament.
Singles will kick off with the Round of 64 on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Inchauspe is the No. 11 ranked player by the ITA and Nidunjianzan is No. 84.
The doubles pairing of Astreinidis and Inchauspe is the No. 4 pair in the national rankings.
Doubles play will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
