Riccardo Fantinelli Tees Up In The Patriot Invitational

Junior Riccardo Fantinelli is competing in a special and prestigious event to close out 2024, representing Princeton at The Patriot All-American Invitational at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Valley, Arizona  December 29-31.
Fantinelli was invited to play in the event based on his selection as a PING All-American in 2024 and is one of 72 golfers competing this weekend.
Throughout the course of the event, players play representing a fallen or wounded military member on their golf bags for the week. Fantinelli will be playing in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Christopher K. Raible who was the commanding officer of Marine Attack Squadron 211, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, I Marine Expeditionary Force out of Yuma, AZ. He was killed September 15, 2012, at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan, when Taliban fighters armed with machine guns, suicide vests, and rocket-propelled grenades breached the highly secured compound and attacked the flight line. The attack destroyed six Harrier fighter jets.
