Women's Swim and Dive Finishes Day Two of Big Al, Winning Three Events

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's swimming & diving program continued with the second day of the annual Big Al Invitational on Saturday, taking first place in three events. After day two of the competition, Princeton leads in the swimming team standings while trailing first in the diving standings by only two points.
Princeton won the 800 freestyle relay, with a squad of Heidi Smithwick, Sabrina Johnston, Jenna Walters and Eleanor Sun swimming 7:09.50.
In the 400 IM, two Tigers earned D1 B times with Eleanor Sun taking first place with a time of 4:08.37. Dakota Tucker took second, swimming 4:09.68.
Isabella Korbly and Sabrina Johnston tied for first in the 100 backstroke, each recording a time of 53.58.
Natalie Farquhar took second place with a time of 1:47.44, while Jenna Walters took third, swimming 1:47.72.
Edie Simecek took third in the 100 butterfly, recording a mark of 53.76.
Alexa Pappas, Eliza Brown, Margaret Hayes and Ela Noble took second in the 200 medley relay, swimming a final time of 1:40.29, with Noble recording a blazing 21.92 split.
In the diving events, Princeton took places two through five in the 3m, with Maggie Squire, Maddie Seltzer, Charlotte Norman and Charlotte Martinkus placing in that order.
Seltzer also took third place in the 1m.
