Chen Nabs Ivy and MBWA Player of the Week

PRINCETON – Kaitlyn Chen was named Ivy League Player of the Week for the fifth time in her career, the league announced today.
Chen was also selected as the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week for the second time this year.
The senior captain averaged 22.0 points (57.1%), 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals as the Tigers collected two Ivy wins over the weekend. She ripped off 27 points, five dimes and four rebounds vs. Yale and added 17 points, six caroms and four helpers in the win over Brown.
This is the second time she has won the honor this season and the eighth time (three Rookie accolades) she has picked up Ivy weekly awards.
Princeton heads to Penn Saturday. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
