
No. 22 Men's Swimming & Diving Adds Two More Event Titles On Third Day At Ivy Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 25 Princeton University men's swimming & diving team added two more event titles and sit a close second after the third day of competition at the Ivy League Championships at Blodgett Pool.
John Ehling won the 1000 freestyle, setting a new school record in the process. Noah Sech also earned a first-place finish in the 400 IM.
With 926 points, the Tigers narrowly trail No. 22 Harvard who leads with 1124 points.
1000 Freestyle
Along with earning a first-place finish, Ehling touched the wall at 8:53.53 to set a new school record, besting his previous Princeton record of 8:54.78. Hunter Kim also came in 21st with a time of 9:24.12
100 Butterfly
A pair of Tigers made it through to the A final, with Conor McKenna finishing fifth in an NCAA B cut time of 46.28 and Nicholas Lim sixth in 47.09.
400 Individual Medley
Three out of the top-four finishers were Tigers, with each earning an NCAA B cut. Sech's time of 3:45.95 earned himself the event title, while Max Seidel finished third in 3:48.73 and Arthur Balva fourth in 3:49.12. Peyton Werner took seventh with a time of3:52.97 and Hunter Kim eighth in 3:57.83. Lucas Strobek won the B final, clocking in at 3:48.08 and earning an NCAA B cut.
200 Freestyle
Three Tigers advanced to the A final, with Max Kreidl coming in fourth in 1:35.37 and earning an NCAA B cut, Mitch Schott coming in fifth in 1:35.91 and Lucas Tudoras eighth in 1:38.35. With a time of 1:36.10, Daniel Li won the B final, while Max Hunger took sixth in 1:37.56.
100 Backstroke
Tyler Hong took third an earned an NCAA B cut, touching the wall at 46.94, and Brett Feyerick took sixth in 47.61. Parker Lenoce clocked in at 48.53 to finish seventh in the B final.
3-Meter Diving
Luca Fassi won the B final and earned an NCAA Zone cut score of 349.50.
400 Medley Relay
The quarter of Hong, Sech, McKenna and Schott finished sixth with a time of 3:10.75.
ECAC Championships
200 Freestyle Relay
With a time of 1:21.48, the team of Finn Dowdall, Zev Schuman, Yanning Zhang and Kael Mlinek finished fourth.
500 Freestyle
Rasmus Makela touched the wall at 4:36.03 to finish seventh in the A final.
50 Freestyle
In the A final, Zhang finished fourth in 20.17.
400 Medley Relay
The quarter of Billy Swartwout, Mlinek, Schuman and Makela came in second in 3:16.33.

The Tigers resume competition on the fourth and final day of the Ivy League Championships with prelims at 11 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. The ECAC Championships also continue with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
