
No. 21 Men's Tennis Improves Winning Streak To Eight With Victories Over Penn State & No. 65 William & Mary

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 21 Princeton University men's tennis team improved its winning streak to eight matches Saturday inside Jadwin Gymnasium, first taking down Big Ten opponent Penn State 4-0 before earning a 6-1 victory over No. 65 William & Mary.
No. 21 Princeton vs. Penn State
The Tigers won the doubles point, with the duo of Paul Inchauspe and Filippos Astreinidis first defeating Ari Coutlas and Nolan Ranger at No. 1, 6-1, before Sebastian Sec and Ellis Short earned a 6-4 win at No. 2 over Miko Eala and Alexander Sterin.
Singles saw Astreindis up 3-0 over Sterin at No. 5 before Sterin retired, then Ellis Short take down Ranger at No. 3, 6-1, 6-1. Aidan Mahoney clinched the match for Princeton at No. 6 when he prevailed over Ritvik Nadikude, 6-3, 6-3.

The doubles point again went to the Tigers, as Inchauspe and Astreinidis dispatched Bill Duo and Konstantinos Rapitis, 6-2, at No. 1, and the tandem of Ardila and Short upended Sean Joseph and Alexandar Karman at No. 2, 6-1.
In singles, Fnu Nidunjianzan first earned a 6-0, 6-1 win over Joseph at No. 2 before Inchauspe triumphed over Raptis at No. 1, 6-2, 6-1. At No. 3, Sec prevailed over Hansen, 6-3, 6-1, and Aleksandar Mitric dispatched Bortnichek at No. 5, 6-2, 6-1. Alan Kam would outlast Karman in a three-set battle at No. 6, 5-7, 6-1, 1-0 (6).
