Sablone's Seven-Hit Series Earns Ivy Player of the Week Honor

Getting seven hits across three games in a series sweep of Dartmouth last weekend, Lauren Sablone piled up credentials worthy of earning the Ivy League Player of the Week award.
Sablone went 7 for 8 to hit .875 on the week, hit two homers to slug 1.625, and drew three walks for a .909 on-base percentage. Sablone scored five runs and drove in three, went 1 for 1 on stolen bases, struck out just once on the week, and went 4 for 4 in chances in the outfield.
Sablone leads the team with a .419 average this season, a 1.138 OPS, 39 hits, 25 RBI, 62 total bases, and a .667 slugging percentage. In the Ivy League on the season overall, Sablone is third in batting average, second in hits, third in RBI, second in total bases, fourth in slugging percentage, and third in on-base percentage (.471).
Sablone and the Tigers will host Monmouth on Wednesday for a single non-conference game before heading to Yale to continue the Ivy League season this weekend.
