Chen, Mitchell and St. Rose Named All-Met

PRINCETON – Kaitlyn Chen (First Team), Ellie Mitchell (Second Team) and Madison St. Rose (Third Team) have been named to the All-Met Teams by the Met Basketball Writers' Association.

Chen was most recently named an WBCA Honorable Mention All-American after finishing her senior season at 15.8 points, 4.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Her 48.8 percent shooting along with her 32.8 percent shooting from deep and 4.9 dimes per contest were all career highs.

Mitchell was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year for the third time in her career this season. The Tigers' scoring defense ranked No. 20 in the country at 56.2 points per contest while the 2024 Ivy League Tournament Champions were No. 22 in Her Hoops Stats Defensive Rating (82.1), a statistic that controls for pace and adjusts defensive rating for the strength of the offenses teams have faced.

St. Rose was second on the squad in scoring at 14.8 points per game. She raised her scoring output from 8.8 as a freshman to 14.8 as a sophomore along with her shooting percentage (.361-.423) and three-point percentage (.255-.340). St. Rose scored in double figures 24 times and surpassed her total field goals (169), three-point total (49-27), assists (40-20) and steals (51-28) than her freshman campaign.

Princeton went 25-5 in 2023-24, collecting its sixth straight Ivy League title and its fifth consecutive Ivy League Tournament crown.
