Chen Named WBCA Honorable Mention All-America

PRINCETON – Kaitlyn Chen has been named Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention All-America.

Chen is the fourth Princeton Tiger in program history to earn WBCA All-America status joining Niveen Rasheed (2013), Blake Dietrick (2015) and Bella Alarie (2019-20).

Chen finished her senior season at 15.8 points, 4.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Her 48.8 percent shooting along with her 32.8 percent shooting from deep and 4.9 dimes per contest were all career highs.

The senior captain's 147 assists in 2023-24 are tied for the third most in a single-season in program history while her 190 field goals were sixth, her 474 points and 389 field goal attempts were 10th.

Chen will graduate third in Princeton history in assists (359) and 12th in points (1,276). During her time with the Tigers, she collected three Ivy League titles, three Ivy League Tournament titles, three Ivy League Tournament Most Outstanding Player awards and two NCAA Tournament victories.
