Men's Lightweight Rowing 4+ Races in IRA Grand Final

WEST WINDSOR - The Men's Lightweight Rowing Team's 4+ raced in the Grand Final on Saturday morning at the IRA National Championships.
The Tigers' rowed to a 6:44.24 to place sixth overall. Georgetown won the gold with a 6:24.08.
Princeton's 2V Grand Final is at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday with Yale, Navy, Harvard, Cornell, Dartmouth and Penn.
After a two-hour delay, the 1V's heat got underway with head coach Marty Crotty's squad crossing the line at 5:40.0, 2.9 seconds back of Penn yesterday in its heat. They will race in the A Final at 10:40 a.m. on Sunday with Navy, Dartmouth, Penn, Harvard and Cornell.
Princeton last won back-to-back IRA golds in 2009-10. The Tigers' 1V has won the grand final three other times in 1994, 1996 and 1998 and won the National Championship regatta in 1986, 1988 and 1989.
