Kovács and Palcza Earn NWPC Weekly Honors

PRINCETON, N.J.- After a 4-1 weekend from the Tigers at the Princeton Invitational, Kristóf Kovács and Tas Palcza were awarded Northeast Water Polo weekly honors.
Kovács, the Defensive Player of the Week, made 52 saves and allowed 45 goals. The keeper tallied 3 steals and 2 assists at the tournament.
Palcza was named the Rookie of the Week after he racked up seven goals across the five games of the weekend. This included a hat trick in the Tigers' win over UCSD. Palcza also notched four assists, three steals, and a block to wrap up the Princeton Invitational.
Princeton will head to the MPSF Invite with the first game on Sept. 20 at 2:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. PT) against No. 1 UCLA.
