Four From Men’s Tennis Advance To Singles Quarterfinals At ITA Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J.- ITA Regionals continued for the Princeton men's tennis team on Sunday.
The Tigers started off the day with two doubles victories in the Round of 16.
Meecah Bigun and Sebastian Sec dominated, taking an 8-1 win over Semen Aginskiy and Venedikt Tsirikidze of St. John's.
Milan Markovits and Sawyer Severance grinded out a 8-7(7) win over the tournament's number three seeded team in Penn's Matthew Rutter and Nischal Spurling.
Paul Inchauspe got the first singles win of the day for the Tigers, defeating Adam Bain of Penn 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
Evan Wen came back after dropping the first set to win 3-6, 7-6(3), 6-1 over Tarek Erlewein of Drexel.
Sebastian Sec earned a straight set 6-4, 6-2 victory over Columbia's Abhishek Thorat.
In the final match of the day, Fnu Nidunjianzan trailed in the first set before coming back and winning the match, 7-5, 6-2 over Thanaphat Boosarawongse of Columbia.
