October 28, 2025 | Men's Soccer
PRINCETON, N.J. – Frederik Sadjak was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week, the outlet announced Tuesday.
The recognition comes as Sadjak, a first-year defender, seamlessly stepped into the starting lineup for Princeton last week as he helped the Tigers secure two shutouts against #2 Bryant and Yale.
"The freshman looked like a veteran as he played all 180 minutes in two clean sheet results," wrote TopDrawerSoccer.
Against #2 Bryant, Sadjak secured the back line as #6 Princeton locked out one of the most prolific offenses in the country.
On Saturday against Yale, Sadjak had another solid performance defending as the Tigers picked up an important in-conference 4-0 victory on the road.
Sadjak, who joined the Tigers this year from Stuttgart, Germany, has been a reliable source for the Tigers at centerback, appearing in 11 matches while notching three starts this season so far.
He has helped Princeton to one of the best defenses in the country, as the team has allowed just four goals all season while earning 10 shutouts.
The Tigers boast a nation-wide second-best goals allowed average (GAA) of just 0.286. The Tigers also rank second in the nation in save percentage (0.918).
Ranking first in the NCAA Committee's Midseason Top 16, first in the RPI, and sixth in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, Princeton is 11-1-2 on the season and 5-0 in the Ivy League.
Sadjak and the Tigers will return home this weekend to host Dartmouth with an Ivy League Championship title on the line. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on Saturday in Roberts Stadium.
