Skye Belker Honored As Ivy Player of the Week

PRINCETON – For the first time in her career, Skye Belker was honored as the Ivy League Player of the Week, the conference announced.

Belker averaged 19.3 points per game in the Tigers' 3-0 week, shooting 19-of-33 overall (.576) while going 9-of-14 from deep (.643). She also sank all 11 free throws and averaged 4.3 assists per contest.

The junior put up 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting while adding five assists in the Tigers' victory over Rice.

Belker led the Tigers with a personal-high 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting including four three-pointers along with a steal and a block as Princeton defeated Penn State, 100-93. It was the third time the program has produced 100 points or more in a game helped by a program record 66 second half points. The Los Angeles, Calif., native later produced 16 points while knocking down four treys in the Princeton victory over UMES.

The Tigers head on the road to take on the Rhode Island Rams on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m.
