Barry's Ivy-Title Clinching Goals Land Ivy Weekly Honor
November 03, 2025 | Women's Soccer
Alexandra Barry's first career two-goal game was a big one, delivering both goals in a 2-1 win at Brown on Saturday to help deliver Princeton the outright Ivy League title and the right to host the Ivy League Tournament.Â
In addition, the goals helped make Barry the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week.
Barry's goals at Brown came in the 30th and 57th minutes, bookending a Brown goal in the 38th minute that tied the game until Barry untied it by achieving the brace.Â
The goals gave the sophomore Barry a team-best five on the season, and they helped make Princeton the back-to-back outright Ivy League champion for the first time in program history. It's Princeton's 12th Ivy title all-time.Â
