Jasinski, Samuels, Whitchurch Invited to 2025 MLS College Showcase
December 09, 2025 | Men's Soccer
PRINCETON, N.J. – Jack Jasinski, Andrew Samuels and Giuliano Whitchurch were invited to the 2025 MLS College Showcase, the league announced Tuesday.
Jasinski, Samuels and Whitchurch were three of the 45 top collegiate soccer players invited to the showcase, which will take place from December 10-13 in Mesa, Arizona.
The four-day talent evaluation event will give technical staffs from MLS clubs an opportunity to scout top collegiate prospects in the nation ahead of 2026 MLS SuperDraft, which will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
The recognition comes after the three Tigers led Princeton to an outstanding, historic season that saw them claim the program's third undefeated, 7-0 Ivy League Championship and win the program's second-consecutive Ivy League Tournament.
The feat marked the first time a team has won both the men's soccer Ivy Championship and the Ivy League Tournament.
Marking another Ivy League first, defenders Whitchurch and Jasinski teamed up with goalkeeper Samuels to allow zero goals in Ivy League play, recording a total of 13 shutouts on the year.
The Tigers, seeded third in the NCAA Tournament, recorded the highest seed ever by an Ivy League team.
Samuels, named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, set a program record this season for most shutouts in a single season (12). The junior ended the season with a GAA of 0.37 and a save percentage of 0.897.
Samuels, Whitchurch and Jasinski were all First Team All-Ivy Selections.
In the Ivy League Tournament, the Tigers soared past Harvard, 3-1, and Cornell, 2-0, to claim their second title. Center back Whitchurch scored the game-winner in the Ivy final with his first of the season, while Samuels made his third penalty kick save of the year to keep the Big Red shut out.
Samuels was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, while Whitchurch also made the All-Tournament Team.
Captain Whitchurch has been a four-year mainstay in the Tiger lineup at centerback, proving himself solid defensively as a two-time First Team All-Ivy honoree.
Jasinski, a product of the Philadelphia Union Academy, has been alongside Whitchurch at the back line, while also showcasing his offensive abilities as he ranks third all-time in the Princeton record book in career assists. This season, he tallied six assists and three goals.
The trio of Tigers will be off to Arizona this week to showcase their exceptional capabilities as they seek consideration for the MLS Superdraft next Thursday.
