Women’s Swimming & Diving Sits In First After Night One Of Ivy League Championships

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton women's swimming and diving team sits in first at the conclusion of night one of the Ivy League Women's Swimming & Diving Championships with 120 points.
Jenna Walters, Heidi Smithwick, Sabrina Johnston and Eleanor Sun teamed up for the 800 freestyle relay and smashed both the pool and program records with a time of 7:03.47.
Smithwick, Johnston, Ela Noble and Alexa Pappas picked up a second place finish in the 200 medley relay as Princeton touched the wall at 1:37.14.
Day two of the championships will kick off tomorrow at 11:00 AM prelims followed by the event finals at 6:00 PM.
