Women's Golf Opens Spring Slate With Columbia Classic In Florida

The spring portion of Princeton 2024-25 women's golf schedule opens with a trip to Melbourne, Fla. to compete in the Columbia Classic hosted by the Lions at Duran Golf Club February 8-9.
The Tigers are one of 12 teams competing, joined by host Columbia, Boston U., Dartmouth, Duquesne, Emory, Illinois State, Marshall, Penn, Quinnipiac, Seton Hall and Youngstown State.

Princeton's contingent will play 54 holes over the two days, opening with 36 holes on Saturday before finishing with the final 18 on Sunday as 71 total golfers traverse the Par-72 track which totals 6,312 yards. The teams will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on both days with shotgun starts.
The Tigers are coming off a fall season where they won two of four events entered, claiming the team championship at the Nittany Lion Invitational and the Princeton Invitational to open the year. After those two wins, the Tigers posted strong finishes against tough fields at the Evie Odom (T8 of 14) and Stanford Intercollegiate (12 of 19).
Individually, the Tigers claimed a pair of medalist honors as a well. Catherine Rao opened the year with a win at the Nittany Lion Invitational, while Victoria Liu finished atop the leaderboard on her home course at the Princeton Invitational -- her third career win at her home event. First-year Tiger Olivia Duan followed that up with a runner-up finish at the Evie Odom.
