Princeton was 2-for-4 on the power play, with Ezman and Anderson netting PPGs to end an 0-for-12 run on the power play for Princeton over its last six games.
Jaxson Ezman got the Tigers going with a power-play goal late in the first period. Nick Marciano carried the puck in for the Tigers, extending an attack sequence that led to a drop pass from Brendan Gorman to Ezman at the left point and eventually a wrister from Ezman that snuck through Basse's pads and in with 4:26 left in the first period.
A second Princeton power-play goal gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead when Kevin Anderson uncorked a one-timer 1:32 into the second period for his first career PPG. David Ma started the sequence with a gritty puck retrieval down low, cycling back to Kai Greaves who slid a quick pass through a seam in the Saints' defense to a wide open Anderson who wasted no time netting his second goal of the weekend.Pucks On Net!

The Saints got one back with 6:47 to play in the second period when Isaac Tremblay picked off a Princeton clearing attempt and quickly fired the puck by Smith to cut Princeton's lead in half.
A frantic start to the third period saw the Saints first appear to have tied the game but not for a quick-thinking play from Ian Devlin while the Tigers were shorthanded before ultimately finding the back of the net moments later to level the game at 2-2 when Tyler Cristall scored 2:20 into the period.
The game was not tied for long, though, as Brendan Gorman weaved his way up the ice and utilized a net drive from David Ma to cause some chaos before firing over Basse's glove for his ninth goal of the season just 90 seconds after the Saints had tied the gameThe Devlin Is In The Details!

Olenginski scored after a pinch down the right wall and a centering pass that ricocheted off Smith's stick and in to cut Princeton's lead again down to one with 5:30 to play.
Under two minutes later, Cristall collected a loose puck in the neutral zone and caught the Tigers in a line change where he cut to the middle and scored top corner to bring the game even at 4-4 with 4:05 to play.
Arthur Smith made two saves in the final three minutes of regulation and added another two in overtime to keep Princeton in the hunt for the extra point, but it was Cristall who scored in the first inning of the shootout and that was all the Saints needed as Basse turned aside all three Princeton attempts.
The Tigers head to New York next weekend, taking on RPI and Union.
