Wang Qualifies For NCAA Championships On Second Day Of Zone A Championships

PISCATAWAY, N.J.- On the first day of the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships, Aidan Wang finished fifth on the 1-meter board, one spot shy of punching his ticket to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Day two was a different story for Wang, as he finished third in the 3-meter finals to secure his spot in the NCAA Championships.
By earning a spot in 3-meter diving and placing within the top 12 on the 1-meter, Wang has now qualified to compete in both events.
Luca Fassi made it through to the finals and placed ninth while George Callanan finished 21st in the prelims.
The final day of the Zone A Diving Championships will take place tomorrow beginning at 12:00 PM with platform diving up on the men's side.
