Men’s Tennis Earns First Win In Ivy League Play Over Penn

PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton men's tennis team turned its focus to conference play following a spring break trip to the West Coast. In a battle with the Penn Quakers, Princeton came out on top 4-3.
Filippos Astreinidis and Paul Inchauspe along with Ellis Short and Fnu Nidunjianzan secured the doubles point for the Tigers.
Nidunjianza and Inchauspe picked up wins in straight sets to give Princeton a 3-1 advantage.
Short played hero for the Tigers once again, clinching the match with a win over Tal Goodman 6-4, 6-2 for Princeton's first conference victory of 2025.
The Tigers will be back in action next weekend with two more Ivy League opponents in Harvard and Dartmouth and Saturday and Sunday respectively. The squad will celebrate senior day before its match with Dartmouth.
