No. 23 Men’s Swimming & Diving Garners Two Major Awards And Nine All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J.- The No. 23 men's swimming and diving team picked up its 32nd Ivy League title at the Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center in Providence, R.I. Matt Crispino's squad earned 1,330 points for its first championship since 2016.
The Tigers had six First Team All-Ivy winners, three Second-Team All-Ivy honors, and two major award winners.
Mitchell Schott had an incredible season which culminated in being named the High Point Swimmer of the Meet. Schott earned a perfect 96 points thanks to three first-place finishes in the 200 freestyle, 200 IM, and 200 butterfly.
Aidan Wang repeated as the High Point Diver of the Meet in his sophomore campaign. Wang finished first in 3-meter diving and second on the 1-meter board.
Patrick Dinu broke a program record in his 100 freestyle preliminaries on his way to winning the finals.
The squad reached a program goal with its first relay to qualify for NCAAs with an A-cut in the 800 freestyle with the team of Arthur Balva, Schott, Noah Sech and Dinu.
Conor McKenna was named to the Academic All-Ivy team.
