SARSOTA SPRINGS – The No. 4 Princeton Women's Rowing Team won four of its five races at Cayuga Lake against Harvard and Cornell on Saturday morning.
The 3V began the racing crossing the line at 6:42.97, 5.7 seconds in front of Harvard. The 4V took home a 7:06.10, ahead of Cornell (7:18.0).
Princeton retained the Class of 1975 Cup by racing out to a 6:18.6, 6.5 seconds ahead of Harvard (6:25.24). It's the 10th straight time that the Tigers have won the Class of 1975 Cup.
Head coach Lori Dauphiny's 2V raced out to a 6:31.02 which was 7.7 seconds ahead of Harvard (6:38.7).
The varsity four earned a 7:09.66, 9.4 seconds ahead of the field. The second varsity four placed second at 7:24.11.
Princeton will welcome Yale for the Eisenberg Cup at Lake Carnegie next Saturday.
