Chea and Belker Earn All-Met Honors

PRINCETON – Ashley Chea and Skye Belker were selected to the All-Metropolitan Basketball Writers' Association Teams.
Chea was picked as third team while Belker was selected as Honorable Mention.
After being one of the top players off the bench last season, Chea made the transition into the starting lineup seamlessly. The sophomore set career highs in almost every statistical category as she averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 assists, 3.2 rebounds. Chea was second in the Ivy League in three-point field goal percentage (36.2), third in three-pointers per game (2.0), fifth in assists per game and sixth in assist/turnover ratio (1.45). The point guard earned two Ivy Player of the Week honors highlighted by a 25-point game on 10-of-15 shooting vs. Penn.
Belker also saw a massive jump in most statistical categories, averaging 13.0 points. 2.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game. She had an improvement in shooting (44.7) and three-point field goal percentage (37.9 percent). The sophomore was a consistent scorer producing 20 double-digit performances including 24 points at Utah and a career-high 25 points at Dartmouth.
