Women's Rowing Has Six Named All-Ivy; Cornelissen Selected Academic All-Ivy

PRINCETON – The Princeton Women's Rowing Team had six members named All-Ivy while Anna Cornelissen was named Academic All-Ivy.
Katherine George, Margot LeRoux, Zoe Scheske and Sara Covin were selected as First-Team honorees as they were on the first varsity that won Ivy gold on Sunday.
The First Varsity ripped off a blistering time of 6:01.18 to take down No. 5 Yale (6:05.06) by 3.8 seconds. The Tigers led throughout the race, defeating Yale's previously unbeaten boat. It was the eighth consecutive victory for the 1V at Ivies and 10th in the past 11 events.
Anne de Croo du Jongh was also on the 1V and collected second-team accolades. Katharine Kalap picked up a second-team selection after rowing in the second varsity that just missed out on gold, recording a 6:07.39, .6 seconds back of Yale (6:06.75).
Cornelissen was on the Varsity Four C that won Ivy gold as well. The boat trailed Brown at the 500m mark by 1.3 seconds but quickly gathered the top spot at the 1,000m point and led the rest of the way to a 7:15.35, 3.3 seconds ahead of Yale (7:18.66).
The NCAA Selection Show will be on Tuesday (May 20th) at 5 p.m. The field is made up of 22 teams, nine earning automatic bids through conference championships and 13 receiving at-large bids
