June 03, 2025 | Men's Golf
For the second year in a row, Will Green has been named Division I Golf Pride Grips Region Coaches of the Year by the Golf Coaches Association of America. He is one of six coaches honored by the GCAA as Regional Coach of the Year.
Green and the Tigers won four tournaments this season, including the Ivy League Championship, en route to one of the most successful seasons in program history which led to Green and assistant Lou Stagner being named Ivy League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year.
Princeton opened the season with a win at the Howard/USF Intercollegiate before closing the fall portion of the season with a victory at the Georgetown Invitational. In the spring, the Tigers won their home tournament with win at the Princeton Invitational before following up two weeks later with the Ivy League Championship victory for Green's 10th Ivy title.
Green helped coach three different players to individual victories this season, led by Riccardo Fantinelli who won the Howard/USF Intercollegiate and the Ivy League Championship. William Huang (Georgetown Invitational) and Reed Greyserman (Princeton Invitational) also had wins for the Tigers this season.
Fantinelli, Greyserman, Huang and Charlie Palmer were all named PING All-Region to lead the Ivy League in All-Region selections.
Along the way during 2024-25, Fantinelli secured his second Ivy League Player of the Year selection and was named first-team All-Ivy for the third year in a row. He was one of five Tigers named All-Ivy, joined by Greyserman (first team), Palmer (second team), Huang (honorable mention) and Tommy Frist (honorable mention).
