Reed Greyserman Wins Florida Amateur Championship, Qualifies For U.S. Amateur

Reed Greyserman rallied to win the 108th Florida Amateur Championship, putting together a pair of special rounds to win in a playoff and earn an automatic exemption to the U.S. Amateur this summer.
Greyserman was tied for 53rd after the opening two rounds, nine shots off the lead. In the third round, he carded a 64 (-8) to jump up to a tie for 4th place. On Sunday, he shot a 68 (-4) to bring himself level with Arth Sinha at -7 overall and force a playoff at BallenIsles County Club in Palm Beach Gardens.
On the first extra hole, Greyserman put together a par which was good enough to win.
It is the second summer in a row that Greyserman has won a state's amateur championship after winning the 2024 New Jersey Amateur.
He will play in his second U.S. Amateur Championship August 11-17 at The Olympic Club in San Francisco.
