Football Hires Austin Triglia As Outside Linebackers Coach

PRINCETON – Austin Triglia has been hired as the outside linebackers coach for the Princeton Football Team.

"Working as a football coach at Princeton means we get the opportunity to develop student-athletes at one of the world's leading universities," said Triglia. "I'm excited to help our players pursue excellence both athletically and academically, and to support their growth on the field and in life. I'm incredibly grateful for this opportunity."

Triglia spent the previous three seasons with Rutgers. He was the team's assistant nickelbacks coach in 2024 and served as a defensive assistant and in player development in his other campaigns with the Scarlet Knights.

Triglia replaces Mike Mendenhall, who coached for 10 years at Princeton. Mendenhall was part of three Ivy League title teams and coached 2021 Ivy Bushnell Cup Winner Jeremiah Tyler.

John Sibel will now take over special team duties for the team. Sibel is in his third season with the Tigers in 2025.
