Men’s Water Polo Travels West For Overnght MPSF Invitational

Tournament Information
PRINCETON, N.J.- The Princeton men's water polo team is set to hit the road once again, this time heading out to California for the Overnght Invitational.
The Tigers were seeded as the No. 7 team in the tournament and will be in Group B with USC, UC San Diego and Claremont Mudd Scripps.
Princeton's first game is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 19 at 4:30 PM ET/1:30 PM PT against UC San Diego at USC.
The squad will then face either USC or Claremont Mudd Scripps on Saturday, Sept. 20 at UCLA.
Games will be available to stream on Overnght.
Kristóf Kovács is coming off another strong weekend at the Navy Invitational. The junior keeper racked up three double digit save performances and held all three opponents to single digit scoring. He also added two assists and three steals to the stat sheet to pick up his second NWPC Defensive Player of the Week honors of the season.
JP Ohl continued chipping away at the all time assists record by adding 10 more to his name across the weekend. Ohl also scored three times and had four steals to collect his first NWPC Player of the Week honors of his career.
Otto Stothart continued his strong start to his collegiate career with five goals, four drawn exclusions, three blocks and a steal on his way to being named the NWPC Rookie of the Week.
