September 27, 2025 | Women's Soccer
A goal 15 minutes in and a penalty-kick goal with a half an hour to go helped Harvard defeat the Princeton women's soccer team 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Cambridge.
Princeton outshot the Crimson 9-6 overall but Harvard put four shots on goal to Princeton's two, with Crimson keeper Rhiannon Stewart and Princeton keeper Cecilia Cerone each making two saves.Â
Ólöf Kristinsdóttir had both goals for Harvard, finishing off the early try with a short-range chip-in before doubling the lead on a penalty kick after Princeton was whistled on a handball in the 18-yard box.
Princeton (2-4-3, 1-1-0) will host Yale next Saturday in its first home Ivy game of the season.
