No. 22 Men's Swimming & Diving Earns 203-97 Senior Day Victory Over Penn State

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 22 Princeton University men's swimming & diving team had a successful Senior Day inside DeNunzio Pool Saturday, earning a 203-97 victory over Penn State.
Prior to the meet, the Tigers' Class of 2026 was honored; Taso Callanan, Daniel Kim, Rasmus Makela, Conor McKenna, James Pan, Mitchell Schott, Lucas Strøbek and Lucas Tudoras.
The meet opened with a win in the 200 medley relay, after the team of Yanning Zhang, Keian Lam, Logan Noguchi and Patrick Dinu finished with a time of 1:25.23.
The Tigers also triumphed in the second relay, the 400 freestyle relay, after Noguchi, Daniel Li, Jake Tarara and Dinu clocked in at 2:53.13.
The top four finishers in the 200 butterfly were Tigers; Mitchell Schott was first (1:42.91) and earned an NCAA qualifying time. John Rusnock finished second (1:45.77), Alex Townsend third (1:47.96) and Conor McKenna fourth (1:50.03).
Schott picked up a third victory in the 500 freestyle (4:20.32) while Max Marcus took third (4:23.23) and Jiarui Xue fourth (4:23.86).
Schott's fourth win (1:45.48) came in the 200 IM, an event where Strøbek took second (1:47.65), Rusnock fourth (1:49.36) and Lam fifth (1:49.49).
The 100 butterfly saw Noguchi come in first (46.52), Alex Townsend second (47.13) and Tudoras fourth (48.52).
Princeton had a successful on the boards, as Aidan Wang won 1-meter with a score of 333.98. Luka Martinovic was third (327.60), Luca Fassi fourth (307.58) and Chase Sorosky fifth (299.48).
Wang was also victorious on 3-meter (381.75) while Martinovic was second (381.53), Callanan fourth (333,45) and Sorosky fifth (322.58).
In the 1,000 freestyle, Jiarui Xue finished first in 9:013.13 while Connor Buck was runner up in 9:03.16. With a time of 9:13.50, Santiago Gutierrez finished fourth.
Noguchi earned the win (19.53) in the 50 freestyle. Tarara came in third (20.06) and Daniel Li fourth (20.26).
Dinu touched the wall first (1:35.16) in the 200 freestyle, Arthur Balva second (1:35.93) and Daniel Li fifth (1:37.91).
Dinu's third win of the day came in the 100 freestyle, after he finished with a. time of 42.35 and earned an NCAA qualifying time Tarara finished second (44.33) and Zhang fourth (45.52).
Parker Lenoce took second (4.13) in the 100 backstroke and Zhang fourth (47.98).
Lenoce also came in second (1:46.47) in the 100 backstroke and Strøbek third (1:47.80).
Lam earned a second place finish in the 100 breaststroke in 54.18 while Andrew Zou finished third (54.60) and Curan Palmer fifth (55.76).
The 200 breaststroke saw Lam finish second (1:57.79), Rusnock fourth (2:00.80) and Zou fifth (2:01.05).
