No. 12 Women's Water Polo Earns Two CWPA Wins

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The No. 12 Princeton Women's Water Polo team collected two wins to begin CWPA play Saturday.
No. 12 Princeton 17, Mercyhurst 3
Mercyhurst's Alex Corrao scored to tie the game at 3-all with 6:06 to go in the first half.
The Lakers did not score the rest of the contest, a stretch of 22:06 of game action.
Princeton ripped off four straight tallies to go up 7-3 at halftime and recorded a 10-0 shutout in the second half.
Didi Evans led the Tigers with five goals.

Kendall Wyer's goal with 13 seconds to go in the first quarter put Princeton ahead, 4-3.
The Tigers did not give up a goal in the second stanza, running out six consecutive tallies to go up, 10-3, at halftime. The Bison never threatened the rest of the way.
Evans and Vivian Golub each had five goals while Shanna Davidson also had a trick in the win.
Princeton heads on the road next Saturday and Sunday to take on Brown, LIU and Harvard.
