Davidson and Lucas Earn CWPA Weekly Honors For Second Straight Week

PRINCETON – For the second consecutive week, Shanna Davidson and Lindsey Lucas were selected for Collegiate Water Polo Association weekly accolades.

Davidson earned CWPA Player of the Week for the sixth time in her career while Lucas corralled Defensive Player of the Week for the 20th time during her time with the Orange and Black.

Davidson recorded four assists and three steals in the Tigers' win over No. 10 Michigan. She followed that with four goals, two assists and three steals in the victory over Saint Francis. Davidson is having a career season in her senior campaign with a personal-high 59 goals and 42 assists. She leads the team in tallies, steals (49), sprint wins (22) and blocks (21).

Lucas now has 27 CWPA weekly honors which is the most in conference history by a man or woman. She stopped 11 shots in the Tigers' win over No. 10 Michigan and added seven more saves in three quarters vs. Saint Francis. For the season, Lucas sits with a 15-5 record, 197 saves and a .566 save percentage.
