Dominguez Named Ivy League Player of the Week, Tigers in Mid-Major Top 25

On the way to the Princeton softball team's fourth consecutive series sweep to start the Ivy League season, junior Graciela Dominguez hit .625 (5 for 8), had three doubles to slug .875, and added four walks for a .750 on-base percentage, earning her recognition as the Ivy League Player of the Week.

Since the start of the Columbia series, a span of 10 games, Dominguez has gone 13 of 24 (.542) at the plate, raising her average from .390 to a team-best .426, adding 12 walks for an OBP of .711 over that time. In Ivy play overall, Dominguez is hitting .548, leading the league in OBP (.647) and OPS (1.480).

As a team, the Tigers are off to a 12-0 Ivy League start, the program's best in 18 years, and after a doubleheader visit from Monmouth on Wednesday, the team will head to Yale to continue the Ivy League season.

The Ivy run and the 22-10 overall record earned the notice of D1Softball, which included Princeton in its mid-major Top 25 this week at No. 25.
