Women's Golf Welcomes Two Newcomers In Class Of 2030

A pair of talented newcomers are set to join the Princeton women's golf team for the 2026-27 season as members of the Class of 2030 as announced by head coach Erik DeSanty.
Ysabel Liu joins the Tigers, making the quick trip from Short Hills, N.J. to Princeton after a standout career at Millburn High School. A Rolex Junior All-American and the 2026 New Jersey Amateur champion, Ysabel will be playing in her second consecutive US Women's Amateur in August.
She will be joined in the class of first-years by Vancouver, B.C. native Elaine Liu, the younger sister of Victoria Liu '25 who had one of the most memorable Princeton women's golf careers in program history. Elaine has already forged her own path in junior golf in North America, with a win at the 2026 Junior Player Tour BC Open and a gold medal in 2025 with Team BC at the Canada Games to go with three Top-3 finishes at AJGA events.
"It is exciting to add Ysabel and Elaine to our program," said head coach Erika DeSanty. "They have proven themselves to be top-quality golfers during their junior careers and have experienced what it takes to win along their journeys which have led to Princeton. They are outstanding young women who will not just fit into our team culture, but add to it. I can't wait to have them on campus and at Springdale with the rest of our team as 2026-27 begins."
