Samuels Earns Second-Consecutive Ivy Defensive Player of the Week Award

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the second-consecutive week, Andrew Samuels was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
This week's award comes after Samuels tallied his fourth-consecutive shutout on Saturday as the Tigers blanked Albany, 1-0.
Making six saves in the contest, he came up in big moments, including stopping a Great Dane penalty kick.
His GAA now improves to 0.20 with just one goal conceded, making Princeton the national leader in goals allowed. Samuels himself ranks second nationally in shutouts and fourth in both GAA and save percentage (0.944).
This is Samuels' second time earning the award this season after picking up the honor last week for earning three-consecutive shutouts in the span of seven days.
It is the seventh time he's earned the award in his career.
