Princeton Set To Host Farnsworth Invitational

Ted Farnsworth was an All-American and the Senior of the Year in college tennis in 1984. After a brief pro career, he became a Navy fighter pilot, tragically dying in a crash in 1991 while training at Top Gun. Shortly after, former Princeton coach David Benjamin renamed the "Princeton Invitational" to the "Ted Farnsworth Invitational."
This year's edition of the event begins Friday at the Meadows Complex, where Princeton will be joined by Florida, Buffalo, Dartmouth, Purdue and Drexel for three days of competition. Friday's schedule is here:
