With her club team, Hilliard was selected to the ECNL PDP and Nike ID2 National Selection Programs. At Weddington, Hilliard played in the state championship game in 2014 and was selected as the conference and county Player of the Year in 2014. Hilliard was also selected to all-conference, all-state, and all-regions teams during high school career. Hilliard was a North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year nominee.
