At Princeton — 2018: earned IRA All-Academic honors … won gold as a member of the 3V at Eastern Sprints; boat topped the field by more than two seconds … raced in the V4+ at the IRA Championships; official final was cancelled due to weather concerns, but Princeton placed second in an unofficial final held at the protected Lake Carnegie course … rowed in both the 2V and 3V during the regular season. 2017: rowed in the 1V at the IRA Championships and finished fifth … competed in the 2V at the Eastern Sprints and finished fourth … earned IRA All-Academic honors. 2016: earned bronze as a member of the 2V at Eastern Sprints. 2015: rowed in the 6 seat at Eastern Sprints and helped the 3V to a silver medal, the top lightweight finish in the event … earned a win over Harvard in the 4V during the Goldthwait Cup regatta.
Before Princeton — won the Junior B 2x at 2012 Club Nationals with his club, New Canaan/Maritime … placed fourth in the 4x at the 2014 Youth Nationals; his boat won the 2014 Northeast District Championships … also lettered in basketball … President’s Scholar nominee.
Personal — born Sept. 11, 1996 … son of Brian and Casey Lange … mother rowed at Villanova … has an older brother Parker, who rowed at the Junior World Championships and the U23 World Championships … enjoys hiking and playing Frisbee … may study molecular biology.
