Jazmin Brown had 19 goals in 24 games for Princeton last season. She also was responsible for 32 steals during the season, the second-most on the Princeton roster. Brown scored three goal twice during the season, coming in wins against UC Santa Cruz and Maryland. Brown scored goals in six of her first seven games of the season and closed out the season by having a goal or assist in nine-straight games. Brown received CWPA and AWPCA All-Academic honors after the season.
Brown was third on the team in goals as a sophomore with 31. She also added 13 assists and 35 steals and was first-team All-Southern selection. She scored seven goals in Princeton’s three ECAC Tournament games, including three in a win over Harvard and was named first-team All-ECAC. She also had three goals in wins over Maryland and Bucknell in the Southern Championship.
As a freshman, Brown led Princeton in assists with 22. She was also second on the team with 52 goals and had 31 steals. She was named second-team All-Southern. Brown was a four-year water polo player for the Davis High School team that won three section championships and went undefeated in 72 games. She was a three-time first-team all-section and two-time second-team All-America pick. Brown earned MVP honors for the Sacramento metro area and played for the National Youth team in 2002.
