- Title:
- Assistant Coach
Jamie Holder is in his third season as Rob Orr’s assistant coach at Princeton. A highly successful swimmer for the Orange and Black, Holder helped lead the Tigers to EISL titles in his first two seasons.
Holder first came to Princeton as an undergraduate during the 1996-97 season. A member of four EISL all-conference teams, Holder earned first-team All-Ivy League honors, set a University record in the 400 freestyle relay and was team captain his senior year. After graduating in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in history, Holder pursued a career in finance for three years and then moved on to gain a degree in massage therapy. Holder returned to Princeton during the summer of 2005 as a full-time coach.
In his first season as an assistant coach, Holder helped Princeton to a wire-to-wire victory at the 2006 EISL championships. The Tigers followed it up in 2007 with another league title, this one coming inside DeNunzio Pool.
