Michael Eichler is in his first season as the volunteer assistant coach at Princeton. An alumnus of Binghamton University, where he rowed for four years, Eichler served as team captain and vice-president of the club.
Previously, he spent six years coaching junior rowers for Hiawtha Island Boat Club, The Hewitt School and Row New York where he grew the Varsity program to double its size and led the crew to their best results in club history. The past three summers, Eichler has coached the US Junior Men’s National Team Development Camp in Lewiston, Maine.
Between 2012 and 2014, Eichler served as a Joy of Sculling apprentice, shadowing and learning from master coaches from top level programs.
