Mark Wertz played in six games for Princeton as a junior. He had three assists and a steal. Wertz scored two goals for Princeton as a sophomore and both came in the early rounds of the Southern Championships. He scored in Princeton’s opening round win over Mercyhurst and again in the second round against Grove City College. Wertz is a three-time CWPA All-Academic Team member.

As a freshman, he chipped in one goal and added two assists and a steal. He helped his high school water polo team finish the 2003 season with an 8-0 conference record and PAL championship title. He earned first-team all-PAL in both water polo and swimming as a senior, and second team all-PAL in water polo and honorable mention in swimming as a junior.
