Berenice Jimenez saw action in 22 games as a junior at Princeton. She contributed a pair of goals, as well as two assists, six steals and eight drawn ejections. Jimenez scored goals in a win against Colorado State and a loss to Maryland in the Southern Championship game. She added her assists in Princeton's season-opening win over Mercyhurst and in the Southern semifinal win over Bucknell.
Jimenez appeared in 27 games for Princeton as a sophomore and she contributed six goals, two assists and 13 steals. Jimenez posted a season-high two goals in a loss to Hartwick and added single goals in four other games, including goals against Marist, Colorado State and George Washington.
Jimenez played on the Bonita Vista High School varsity team since her freshman year and was a four-year letterwinner. There she served as a team captain since her sophomore year and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player twice. In 2006, Jimenez was named on the to the Union-Tribune All-Academic Team for winter high school sports. She also played for San Diego Shores club team and was a part of the teams that placed gold in Junior Olympics in 2003 and bronze in 2004.
