David de L'Arbre played in all 28 games as a senior and scored 10 goals, 10 assists and 23 steals. De L'Arbre scored single goals in 10 games, notching goals in the season's first two games against UCLA and Harvard. He also scored in wins over Johns Hopkins and Brown during the ECAC Championships and scored in league regular-season wins over George Washington, Bucknell and Hopkins. De L'Arbre scored three postseason goals, scoring against Bucknell in the Southern semifinals, MIT in the Eastern first round and Bucknell in the Eastern semifinals, all Princeton wins.
De L'Arbre scored a career high 12 goals as a junior. He also added eight assists, 26 steals and was Princeton's top sprinter, winning 22 of 31 attempts, almost 71 percent. De L'Arbre scored a pair of goals in a wins over Brown and a loss to USC. He added single goals in eight other games, including wins over Iona, Mercyhurst and Queens. De L'Arbre had a goal, two assists and a steal in a win over Iona and had two assists and four steals in a win over Bucknell in the Southern semifinals.
De L’Arbre scored two goals and added nine assists and 10 steals in 26 games as a sophomore. De L’Arbre netted goals in wins over George Washington and Johns Hopkins. He posted a season-high three steals in wins over George Washington and UC Santa Cruz.
De L’Arbre played in 23 goals for the Tigers as a freshman and scored five goals and added five assists. He scored his first career goal in his first career game, a win against Gannon, and added a goal in a league win against Johns Hopkins. De L’Arbre score in three consecutive games late in the season, picking up goals against Queens, Gannon and Penn State Behrend.
De L’Arbre attended Santa Barbara High School and won two CIF Div. IV championships (2001 and 2003). He was named first team all-league as a junior and senior, second team CIF Div. IV as a junior year and first team CIF Div. IV as a senior. He was a seventh team All-California and Hawaii All-American.
