Matt Hudnall was a CWPA All-Academic Team selection as a senior. He played in 22 games during the season and scored six goals with four assists and six steals. Hudnall scored goals in four of Princeton's six games, including a two-goal outing in a loss to Brown during the Princeton Invitational. He also added single goals against Harvard, Santa Clara and Fordham during the stretch. Hudnall also had assists in three of those contests. His sixth goal in the team's win over Gannon in the first-round of Southern's. He also had an assist in the win.
Hudnall netted nine goals as a junior in 28 games played. He also added six assists and seven steals for the Tigers. Hudnall registered single goals in nine games during the season, finding the back of the net in wins over Johns Hopkins, George Washington, Iona and Queens. He also scored in Princeton's Southern Championship game win over Navy. He also has a multiple-assist game in a win over George Washington. Hudnall was a CWPA and ACWPC All-Academic Team selection.
Hudnall registered 18 goals in 27 games during his sophomore season. Hudnall also had 14 assists and 23 steals. He started the season with two goals in each of his first four games to combine for eight goals in four games. His season high came during the SoCal Tournament when he netted three goals in a loss to Redlands.
Hudnall scored six goals in 19 games for Princeton as a freshman. All six goals came in the season’s first weekend, when he scored three goals in a win over Fordham, one against Iona and a pair against George Washington. Hudnall also added seven assists and six steals during the year.
Hudnall was a four-year varsity starter at the Menlo School. As a senior he was the team’s captain and a first-team All-PAL and All-CCS selection. Hudnall was a member of the Stanford Club 18 & Under Junior Olympic bronze medal-winning team, and he won a gold medal with the Pacific Zone team at the 2005 National Age Group Championships.
