Amy Bond completed her fourth season as Princeton’s women’s golf coach in 2009-10.
Bond has guided Princeton to eight tournament victories in her four seasons and helped place the Tigers in the top four in the Ivy League each year as well. At the 2008 and 2009 Ivy League tournaments, Bond coached Susannah Aboff to individual league championships.
During her five-year tenure as an assistant coach at Florida State, her alma mater, Bond helped guide the Seminoles to NCAA Championship appearances in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006. The team saw two players earn All-America honors in that span including Caroline Westrup as the school’s first rookie to earn first-team All-America plaudits.
As a player from 1994-99, Bond was named the team’s most valuable player all three seasons while playing in three NCAA Regionals and placing 30th nationally in 1999. She was an All-ACC pick in 1998 and was one of three Florida State golfers to be named to the conference’s 50th Anniversary team in 2003.
Following her collegiate career, Bond played on the SBC Futures Tour from 1999-2003.
An Ocala, Fla., native, Bond earned a bachelor’s degree in sport management from Florida State in 1997 before achieving a master’s degree in sport administration from the university two years later.
