Tim Marks is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Princeton men's hockey team, having been hired in August 2012.
Marks' primary duties include video breakdown and player development.
Marks played college hockey at Clarkson University, where he earned a degree in entrepreneurship & innovation.A native of Brownville, N.Y., Marks played in 141 career games and had 14 goals and 22 assists. He helped the Golden Knights compile 66 victories between 2006-2010, including two consecutive 20-win seasons in 2006-07 and 2007-08. Clarkson won the ECAC Hockey Championship in 2007, the regular season in 2008 and made appearances in the NCAA Tournament both years.
The Tampa Bay Lightning signed Marks to a contract in March 2010. He was assigned to the Norfolk Admirals (AHL) where he played through the end of the 2011 season. Marks appeared in 59 games and scored four goals and four assists, while picking up 69 penalty minutes. He also played in two playoff games for the Admirals.
Marks joined the Elmira Jackals (ECHL) club last fall but after playing two games he suffered a season-ending injury. He stayed with the club and was an assistant coach and video coordinator.
Marks and his wife Davanna have a son Connor.
