Women's Hockey Team Back on Winning Track

PRINCETON, N.J. - Behind the solid goaltending of rookie Sarah Ahlquist (South St. Paul, Minn.) the Princeton women's hockey team is above the .500 mark for the first time this season. The Tigers achieved the mark with a 2-0 win over Ohio State on the final day of the Princeton Women's Hockey Thanksgiving Invitational.
Princeton dented the scoreboard first with a rebound goal from Danya Marshman (Sr., Huntington Woods, Mich.) at 11:34 of the first period. She was assisted by Aviva Grumet-Morris (So., Evanston, Ill.) on the goal. The Tigers tallied an insurance goal at 10:17 into the third period from Annamarie Holmes (Jr., Apple Valley, Minn.). Andrea Kilbourne (So., Saranac Lake N.Y.) and Marshman assisted.
Princeton out-shout the Buckeyes 33-13. Ohio State goalie Melissa Glaser made 31 saves in goal to Ahlquist's 13.
The Tigers hit the road for the second time this season as they travel to Brown Dec. 4, Harvard Dec. 5 and Yale Dec. 6.
